More changes are in motion at Atlantic Station.
The mixed-use development is set to get a fourth location of HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern in fall 2019.
The 6,000-square-foot restaurant will be featured in the renovated Central Park area of Atlantic Station and will feature a rooftop patio bar. The eatery will be located in the space formerly occupied by the now-shuttered Strip, which will be demolished to make way for a new building for HOBNOB.
Locally-owned HOBNOB serves a menu of tavern staples with a Southern influence and also offers a lengthy list of bourbons.
“Atlantic Station is undergoing its largest transformation since its inception in an effort to create highly connective mixed-use experience,” said Nick Garzia, director of retail leasing for Hines, which acquired the retail core of Atlantic Station in 2015 along with an investment company, said in a press release. “The addition of HOBNOB furthers our efforts in creating a heightened neighborhood-like atmosphere, offering residents, office workers and guests great food and a community-orientated experience.”
This is the latest in a string of recent changes in Atlantic Station’s eateries:
- Pho 24 is set to take the place of Boneheads
- NaanStop will move into a space previously occupied by Tin Drum Asian Kitchen
- Moe’s Southwest Grill was replaced last year by salad concept Salata
- Rosa Mexicano, one of Atlantic Station’s original tenants, closed its doors at the end of 2017.
- Copeland’s Cheesecake Bistro closed its doors in early 2017 to be replaced by Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ
