A new coffee shop has taken up residence at Shops Buckhead Atlanta.

Mourning Dove Coffee, from Birmingham, Ala.-based Revelator Coffee, opened over the weekend in the upscale shopping complex at 3065 Peachtree Road NE. It replaces Corso Coffee, which closed in August.

The shop will offer a coffee program similar to other Revelator locations, with alcohol and food also being offered.

Andrea Kirshtein, who previously served as a pastry chef at Empire State South, will serve as a managing partner.

Revelator, which announced earlier this year that it was purchasing the Atlanta-based group of Octane coffee shops, also has cafes in Atlanta at 691 14th St. and 848 Spring St. NW. Its coffee is also served at West Elm inside Ponce City Market and a Revelator Coffee bar will be part of the new Whole Foods opening in Chamblee this month.

Revelator also has locations in Birmingham, New Orleans, Nashville, Chattanooga and Charleston.

This week, Mourning Dove will be open from 6:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Friday. Regular hours, which are set to begin next weekend, will be 6:30 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Friday and 7:30 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday-Sunday.
