Where to eat brunch on Mother’s Day in metro Atlanta

The way to a woman’s heart may be a great meal. This Mother’s Day, get mom out of the kitchen and make a brunch reservation at one of the following restaurants in metro Atlanta. Some restaurants will offer complimentary flowers, mimosas and more. All brunch offerings will be held Sunday, May 14. Reservations are strongly recommended for all.

MAYA Steaks and Seafood: Bottoms up. Guests can enjoy bottomless mimosas for $15 all day. Patrons who prefer to skip the cocktail can indulge in a complimentary dessert.

Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse: In addition to the regular a la carte menu, several brunch specials will be offered including beef tenderloin with poached eggs and roasted potatoes; shrimp frittata; and a half boneless fried chicken and waffle. Dinner specials will include halibut with lemon-asparagus risotto and surf and turf dish. Specials will be offered from 11 a.m.-9 p.m.

Foundation Social Eatery: This Roswell eatery will offer a special buffet brunch service with French toast bread pudding; rapini and goat cheese frittata; short rib hash; New strip steak and more from noon to 3 p.m. A seat at the table will be $35 and $17 for children ages 5 – 12.

The St. Regis Atlanta: Guests will indulge in a brunch menu inclusive of carving and omelet stations, a seafood display, dessert plus a bloody Mary and mimosa station for custom cocktails in Astor Court. Seatings will be offered at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.; note that the alcohol service begins at 12:30 p.m. The cost is $149; $75 for children 8 – 12 years old; $59 for children four and seven years old; and free for children under three years old.

Livingston Restaurant + Bar: Chef Mark Breault’s full buffet spread will include traditional breakfast items as well as salads, meats, pasta and dessert from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. A seat at the table will be $38; buffet for children will be $15; children under five years old will eat for free. Complimentary three-hour parking will be available.

Hudson Grille: Moms will be able to enjoy a complimentary glass of champagne or a mimosa plus a free dessert at this comfort food restaurant. This offer will be available at all metro Atlanta locations.

Entrée options will include creamy lobster tagliatelle, shrimp and grits, center-cut beef Stephanie, chicken and mushroom crepe. The children’s menu, which is $9.95, includes a fruit cup, choice of spaghetti marinara, fried chicken tender platter or grilled cheese with French fries and an ice cream sundae. Seatings will be available from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m.

Shoney’s: Head here for an all-you-care-to-eat buffet food bar with slow-roasted turkey, fried chicken, meatloaf, coconut shrimp, squash casserole, mashed potatoes with gravy plus a salad, soup and fruit bar all day. Moms will be treated to a slice of strawberry pie, free with purchase of a food bar or entrée. The buffet will be $11.99.
