Sunday, May 14: Treat mom to brunch at 101 Steak for Mother’s Day. Diners will enjoy an expansive brunch buffet featuring a hot station with ham, prime rib, eggs, brioche banana French toast, buttermilk fried chicken and much more; plus pastries and a raw bar from 11:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Brunch is priced at $37; $16 for children ages 6-12; and free for kids under five. Monday, May 15: Cookbook author Christina Lane will host a tasting and book-signing from 6-8 p.m. at The Cook’s Warehouse in East Cobb. Lane will sign copies of her latest cookbook, “Sweet & Simple: Dessert for Two” while dishing out tastings of gooey butter cake cookies, peppermint brownie bites and cheesecake in a loaf pan, which are all featured recipes in the book.
