Grilling season is around the corner. Cooking at home can be a daunting task if you’re not a professional chef. However, fine cuisine and home cooking doesn’t have to be complicated.
AJC food writer C. W. Cameron explored women behind the grill in Atlanta and they shared some tips to get the best out of your grill this season. Once you’re armed with these tips and a grill the cooking can begin. But if you’re not a butcher then dealing with what you’ll be cooking could cause a bump in the road.
Luckily The Butcher Babe has your back. We’re giving away a copy of “The Butcher Babe Cookbook: Comfort Food Hacked by a Classically Trained Chef,” which will be released on April 25. Chef Loreal Gavin explores how to create dishes that feature flavor and soul. Gavin breaks down how to bake and butcher allowing readers to recreate meals, such as, filet with bourbon blue cheese sauce or brown paper bag chicken.
