Chef Mark Taft is building his way to a mini metro Atlanta restaurant empire.

The owner of Chicken and the Egg in Marietta has announced plans to open three restaurants in Forsyth County: Southern restaurant CO-OP Community Table + Bar, Feed Fried Chicken + Such (which is also getting a location this spring in The Battery at SunTrust Park) and an unnamed burger concept.

All three are set to open in April 2018 at the Halcyon development at 5490 McGinnis Village Place # 133 on the Alpharetta border.

Taft, who also has plans to open Brine Seafood Shack this year in the Avalon development in Alpharetta, has created the restaurant management company Southern Fried Hospitality as an umbrella group for all of his ventures.
