Saturday, Dec. 31: Guests will receive a complimentary bowl of Toshikoshi soba noodles at Nakato Japanese Restaurant. This symbolic dish involves tying the two years together through the long noodles and by severing or biting the noodles, the past becomes the past and the new year represents a clean slate. The special dinner menu will include edamame, a choice of sushi roll, sizzling shabu-shabu or sukiyaki hot pot and more for $75 for two people.

Saturday, Dec. 31: Cozy up beside a 24-foot hearth for a three-course menu option inclusive of hamachi crudo, smoked Berkshire pork torchon, lobster Thermidor and more at King + Duke. A seat at the table will be $75 per person. Two tiers of four-course wine pairings will also available for $30 or $50 per person.

Saturday, Dec. 31: The team at Saltyard will bring back its Feast for Fortune dinner party featuring a five-course tapas style menu designed to bring luck, love and prosperity in the new year. Dishes will include more than 20 options ranging from chilled soba noodle salad to saffron linguine, pork croquettes and Meyer lemon polenta cake. The cost will be $69 per person. Saltyard will also offer á la carte selections like a Florida lobster tail medallion with truffle butter, marinated fresh LA lump crab salad and a grilled petit filet. Guests will enjoy music a live band and a complimentary glass of bubbles with their meal too.
