Check out the restaurants and food stalls that opened this year at Ponce City Market and Krog Street Market

It was a big year for Ponce City Market — the mixed use development and food hall was named one of the top food halls in the country by Vogue magazine and unveiled several new places to eat and drink. The smaller but just as mighty Krog Street Market also saw the opening of several hot new spots in 2016. How many have you tried? Read on to see what you still need to tick off your list:

Biltong Bar – (Intown/PCM) – A South African concept from the team behind Yebo Beach Haus, Cape Dutch and 10 Degrees South, Biltong Bar features craft cocktails and small plates.

City Winery –  The Atlanta location of the restaurant/music venue offers a New American menu of small plates, entrees, sides and desserts, as well as its housemade wines. Dog-friendly brunches and a speakeasy are recent additions to the Ponce City Market spot. Read our review here

The Mercury – The retro spot from the team behind The Pinewood in Decatur serves up classic cocktails with a modern twist, as well as lunch and dinner dishes including a prime rib sandwich and a vegetarian portabello Monte Cristo, as well as a raw bar. Read more here and read our review here

Nine Mile Station –  The Ponce City Market rooftop beer garden and eatery offers pressed sandwiches, sausages, and mixed grill featuring steak, pork, chicken, and vegetables, as well as 12 beers on tap, 12 to 15 by the bottle and a wine and craft cocktail list that includes beer-tails on tap.
