Some Atlantans struggled this morning to find gas stations to fill up the tank. For those who need to save fuel for work commutes instead of grocery runs, there’s good news: food delivery in metro Atlanta appears to be unaffected by the gas shortages following an Alabama pipeline leak.

Calls today to various major pizza chains indicate that it is business as usual for the pizza man. From the Papa John’s at 1874 Piedmont in Midtown to a Pizza Hut at 4601 Satellite Boulevard in Duluth to a Domino’s at 5175 South Old Peachtree Road in Norcross, all were delivering pizzas as normal. An employee at a Domino’s at 3333 South Cobb Drive in Smyrna said that its drivers had plenty of gas, and stated that gas stations near that Domino’s location had received gas shipments last night.

Looking for more than pizza delivery? Atlanta-based online food delivery company, Zifty, has drivers with full gas tanks who are ready to bring restaurant fare to your door. “We don’t have any plans to make any changes in terms of delivery rates or even with delivery times,” said Zifty president Todd Miller. Zifty offers delivery service primarily within the Perimeter.

Food delivery service DoorDash is also unaffected. “While our local team is aware and is in close communication with Dashers, at this point we have not seen an impact on our operations,” said Eitan Bencuya, DoorDash head of communications.”

UberEATS, is also operating as normal. Like Zifty, UberEATS delivers food from partner restaurants. The delivery fee for UberEATS is a flat $3.99 and delivery is available throughout most of metro Atlanta. Neighborhoods in its coverage zone include Vinings, Brookhaven, Buckhead, North Druid Hills, Decatur, Inman Park, Midtown, Downtown, Grant Park, Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, Roswell, Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Smyrna, East Cobb and Marietta.
